All Policies and procedures applicable to collection , use and information disclosure on www.shieldprotocol.org and related mobile applications and products we offer ( the “services”, “ Shield 2FA” or “Shield Wallet”), is described in this privacy policy.

At Shield protocol, we don’t collect any personal identity revealing information from user while using Mobile app and its features, unless you provide your contact information, such as your phone number, social media handle, or email address (depending on how you contact us), may be collected when you communicate with us to report a bug or other error reporting or you participated in some rewards & events of Shield protocol. We don’t share your information with third parties except to deliver you our Services and products, comply with the law, make Shield Protocol Services better, protect our rights, or effectuate a business transfer.

1. Information We Collect

We keep our word and try not to collect any personal information for Shield Protocol users ( Shield 2FA or Shield wallet ). While using our services, we do collect PUBLIC Wallet addresses that you generate through Shield Wallet while using Shield Protocol App. we don’t collect any personal identity revealing information from user while using Mobile app and its features, unless you provide your contact information, such as your phone number, social media handle, or email address (depending on how you contact us), may be collected when you communicate with us to report a bug or other error reporting or you participated in some rewards & events of Shield protocol.

- Automatic Information collected

There might be some information that will be collected automatically like when user visit our website or use mobile app, device’s IP addresses, but nothing is being collected from our side. It can be crawlers or any algorithms used by browsers, but we do not collect anything and do not track your activities.

- Third Party Services

Some features on Shield App rely on various third-party products and services (collectively “Third Party Services”), such as the Binance Smart network, Apple’s application platform. These services may collect certain Personal Information, such as your public Wallet addresses.

2. How we use Your Information

We do not collect any information from user, except those who participated in events or rewards where they share their email, Twitter handle, Telegram username and Public Wallet Address, we do not rent, share or trade your Information. Anyone who has something reported related to product and service is only only contacted for reply on that issue. Sometime any important information or marketing material is shared on social channel with you.

3. How We Protect Your Information

Although we do not collect any personal Information, other than mentioned above. To protect your limited Information that we collect, the Company may adopt data security techniques, improve internal compliance levels, provide security training for our staff, and set security authority for access. We will provide information articles related to the use of wallets and information protection in the "Settings\' column on our Applications for your reference.

4. Protection for the Minors

We take security of children’s information very seriously, although none of our service is targeted towards children and we don’t collect any information knowingly from children under age of 13. If you have questions concerning our information practices with respect to children, or if you learn that a child under the age of 13 has used Shield Services and Apps, created a user account, or provided us with personal information, please email us at support@shieldprotocol.org Also, the minors who are under age of 18, shall not use Shield services and Apps without the guidance from their parents or guardians. The parents and guardians of the minors shall provide guidance to the minors on using Shield services and apps after they read this Policy, Terms of Service and other related and relevant rules.

5. DATA RETENTION

We still may retain some information that you have provided to us in Shield App to comply with relevant laws. In some cases we may retain information, Even If you delete your Wallet or addresses from the Shield App, uninstall Shield Mobile apps, or request that your information be deleted,

6. DATA SECURITY

We are committed to make sure your information is protected completely. The only third party we use is Binance Smart Chain which will store user backup. Although blockchains are top ranked in data security but still we do not control these third parties and therefore cannot guarantee complete security. Also we have applied 3-Tier encryption to data before user send it to Blockchain or stores on its device. Even with all precautions, we cannot fully guarantee against the access, disclosure, alteration, or deletion of data through events, including but not limited to hardware or software failure or unauthorized use. Any information that you provide to us is done so entirely at your own risk.

7. INTERNATIONAL USERS AND VISITORS

This information is for international users that Shield App is hosted in the Europe. But any of the data that is backup by user is not stored on centralised servers and company databases. Either data is stored on user mobile device or their personal online drives like iCloud, dropbox etc. And if you use back up feature provided by Shield app, your data is stored on Blockchain (Binance Smart Chain) where it can’t be tempered or access by anyone except you(user).

8. CHANGES AND UPDATES TO PRIVACY POLICY

Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy. Company will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Policy through the Sites at least thirty (30) days prior to the change taking effect. Please note that the use of information Company gathers is subject to the Privacy Policy then in effect at the time of use. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
